During my recent business trip to Zanzibar, I had the pleasure of staying at Hakuna Matata Guest House, a charming spot that definitely offers a slice of affordability without compromising on unique experiences. The accommodations might be basic, but they are clean and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable stay—especially for someone like me who enjoys the simpler things in life. One of the standout features was the communal kitchen, which I found particularly useful for enjoying breakfast with my traveling companions, and the free WiFi was a lifesaver when it came to getting some work done. The guest house is situated within walking distance of the beach and small local shops, allowing for delightful leisure strolls after a long day of meetings. The friendly cats roaming the property added a homey touch—something I personally appreciate when travelling. While I did find the room a touch warm, with two fans provided, the overall atmosphere was delightful, enhanced by the relaxing presence of the garden and terrace. For those who appreciate a place with character and creativity, Hakuna Matata Guest House is certainly worth considering.
